Hey there, I’m ANDREW. A queer Brooklyn-based singer, performer, educator, and nightlife curator.
ANDREW is a Brooklyn-based Queer Disco and Soul Singer. His most recent debut, “Redeem U/Euphoria” was premiered on BBC 6 Radio by the renowned DJ, The Blessed Madonna- where she deemed it a “stunning record”. ANDREW has performed in NYC at venues such as Feinstein’s 54 Below and Carnegie Hall, and has started promoting and performing a the premiere queer venue in the city- 3 Dollar Bill. ANDREW aims to inspire and uplift people with his music and promote the importance of Queer Artists. Recommended Listen says that ANDREW sings with a “quasi-religious like summons of Disco Soul.”
ANDREW most recently performed all over New York City during Pride Month- most notably at Stonewall National Monument, 3 Dollar Bill, and Rebel Cafe for Brooklyn’s end of pride event hosted by District Leader Samy Nemir Olivares.
Born and raised in Seattle, WA, ANDREW began singing before he could even talk. He was in every choir and singing group you could possibly imagine from early elementary school all the way until the end of High School. His grandmother started paying for his piano lessons at age 8- and the rest is history. In middle school, ANDREW discovered a love for Musical Theatre and quickly started performing as leads in school and community theatre. He moved to Miami at 18 to go to the Frost School of Music- where he graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance/Musical Theatre. He quickly jet set to Europe to help create a summer arts program at The American School in Switzerland- writing and composing children’s musicals for children from all over the world.
Then- he moved to NYC. He’s been working and performing in New York (the best city in the world) for almost a decade now.
